Pay Rate: $30.27 $40.86/hour (based on experience)

About the Unit:

• 52-bed Neuro Stroke PCU + 12-bed Neuro Stepdown
• 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Care for hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients, with expanding services for seizure disorders, epilepsy diagnostics, spinal surgeries, alcohol withdrawal, and degenerative neuro conditions like ALS and Guillain-Barr Syndrome.
• Opportunities to gain advanced neuro clinical experience with complex and diverse patient populations.

What You Will Do:

As a valued member of our Neuro Stroke team, you will deliver safe, high-quality care using critical thinking, empathy, and clinical expertise. You will collaborate with physicians and specialists, guide patients through complex neurological journeys, and grow professionally through shared governance and leadership support.

Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required; Associates or Bachelors preferred.

Certification Requirements: Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date. Certification requirements may vary by department. Please reference the Nursing Addendums for department specific requirements.

License Requirements: Currently licensed in the State of Florida.
